The transformative power of collective energy in our  Cutting the Ties that Bind seminar in Spain

It was palpable how the CTB method is beneficial for *everyone* - regardless of age, nationality or personality

When people of all ages, nationalities and personality types come together for a common learning experience the results can be incredibly powerful. And so it was during our Cutting the Ties that Bind (CTB) seminar in Lalita Devi near Caceres, Spain in August 2025. Spaniards, North Americans, Brits and Germans - with ages from 18 up into their 70s - met in the idyllic setting of Lalita Devi to discover more about the CTB method and, in so doing, more about themselves.

Not everyone on the seminar was familiar with the CTB technique so the first day was spent breaking down the concepts, exploring its history and discussing its uses. Participants were gifted with a pack of the special cards displaying the CTB symbols (which can be purchased from Phyllis Krystal’s site). We even managed to do a ‘cut’ on that first day, getting rid of a limiting belief or concept that might have been holding us back.

Collective Energy

After a wonderful evening of delicious food and making new friends, the next day was spent describing special types of cuts that can only be done in 1:1 sessions and we also talked about the concepts of dreams and dream work under the Phyllis Krystal method. This was followed by working as a group to do a cut from a person. Now, what was especially powerful about the seminar was that, because we were a group of more than ten people, we were able to carry out the cut immediately. The energy of the group was so strong that what usually takes several weeks of ‘figure of eight’ visualization was transformed into an instant cut. It was such an incredible opportunity to share our collective energy and get such wonderful work done.

As is often the case with these intensive seminars, it was a bittersweet moment to say goodbye to new friends after sharing such incredible moments together. We especially want to thank all at Lalita Devi for helping organize the seminar and for providing the incredible food and service. And if you weren’t able to attend this time (or want to repeat the enriching experience!) then watch this space as we hope to organize another seminar in the next few months. Also stay tuned for announcements about in-person CTB seminars in Madrid and Barcelona or please get in touch if you’re keen to organize a seminar somewhere else with us. If this past seminar in Lalita Devi has taught me one thing, it’s that the CTB method is beneficial for *everyone* - regardless of age, nationality or personality!
